Hello loves. I have been getting a lot of questions about my weight loss lately so I decided to be a little personal and write a post about it. If you been following my blog you already know that I had to have an emergency c-section with Kian. I think I was one of the lucky ones because my recovery went very well. I was off my medication 4 weeks after he was born (YAY). I also get asked very often if I am still breastfeeding and the answer is NO. My milk production stopped after 5 weeks. I literally woke up one day and that was it. During my stay at the hospital I become very close to my nurse Emily. I love her to death. She took such good care of me and Kian. Emily was the one that introduced me to Weight Watchers. Six week postpartum I attended my very first Weight Watchers meeting. I absolutely love their point system. I did my best to attend their meetings once a week. However, it was really hard to get away at times and I felt that the meetings did not really benefit me as much as it does for others. I think the meetings are great for someone that need face to face and personal support. I switched over to Weight Watchers online. I started to walk 30 minutes a day at first. That was hard enough considering I was still coming off a major surgery however I was starting to feel stronger with each walk. Two months postpartum I started to walk 60 minutes a day with Kian. I would use my Fitbit to ensure I was getting my 10,000 steps in every day. As of today, I have lost 34 pounds and counting. I don’t think my body will ever be the same. Things have shifted left and right but that is totally okay with me!
